{t is therefore clarifled for the inforrnaiion of all concerrled that

the proceedinqs of imposition of fine should preferably completerl in

course of a fortnight. The workman should be communicated the decision

of the authority concerned and be asked to pay the amount in ca-sh imrne-

diately or within a day or two" If the employee faiis to p?y the omount

in cash the flne should be recovered from the wages to be paid to him in

the fcllorving month. It should, howevor, be ensured that the date of

eornmission of the offence and the date of recovery shogld in no circuqr-

stances exceed the limit oi 60 days and that the fine is to be recovered in

one instalment only and there is no relaxation of the rules in this behalt'.

It is also impressed that all fines are to be recorded in the pres-

cribed register and the amount of fine is to be eredited to the Labour

Welfare Funel.
