QUIcK StaRt INStallatIoN gUIDE
Mounting guidelines
1. Choose a location to mount the power supply that will stay dry in any weather condition. When possible, place the power supply near the location of the led systems you are lighting.
note: the power supply must be placed no further than 15 feet from the leds.
2. it is recommended that the power supply be placed within a transformer box (unless it is mounted inside a raceway).
3. Use a power drill or screw driver with the screws to attach the power supply (or transformer box) in the chosen location.
helpful hint: if you are mounting inside a raceway, build a 1/2 inch hat to raise the power supply off the bottom of the raceway. this will prevent damage to the power supply in the event of water collecting within the raceway.
4. ensure that the power supply is securely attached.
5. Using the wire strippers, strip the ends of the wires on the led modules and the ends of the 18 aWg connection wires. Make sure the length of the connection wires is long enough to reach the location of the mounted power supply.
note: led system should already be installed within the channel letter. For installation directions, refer to the Channel letter illumination installation guide.
6. Connect the led module wires to the 18 aWg connection wires using wire nuts.

1. on the dC output side, use wire nuts to attach the red 18 aWg connection wire from the led system to the red ( + ) dC power wire on the power supply; attach the white 18 aWg connection wire from the led system to the black ( - ) dC power wire on the power supply.
2. Strip the wires of the Ul rated power cord. Using wire nuts, attach the brown wire of the aC power cord to the brown (l) aC power wire on the power supply; attach the blue wire of the aC power cord to the blue (n) aC power wire and attach the green/yellow of the aC power cord to the green/yellow (g) aC power wire.
3. turn on the power supply by inserting the aC power cord into an outlet.

1. Verify the input voltage of the dynasty® t8 lamp is compatible with the output voltage of the fixture. Use a voltage meter if necessary to confirm the output voltage of the fixture. 2. turn off the power supply to the fixture.3. Remove the ballast from the fixture if necessary.4. Wire the fixture according to the wiring diagram listed above.5. install the dynasty t8 lamps into the fixture.6. turn the power on.
