FAST FACTS ROUND CONCRETEBEFORE COLLAR

YOU BUY The Optimum round pool requires a concrete collar only when it is installed 24" or more in the ground. The collar is 8" deep x 12" wide, and it is installed all the way around the pool. Rebar is supplied with the pool to bond the pool to the concrete. No collar is needed if the pool is above ground or less than 24" below grade.

OVAL CONCRETE FOOTING AND COLLAR When the Optimum oval is installed 24" or more below grade it requires a concrete collar. The concrete collar is 8" deep x 12" wide and goes completely around the pool. The oval pool still requires a concrete footing when it has the concrete collar. Both the footing and the collar are needed when the pool is 24" or more below grade.

Above all else this means less use of a heater or NO need for a heater at all!
