Gene is a proven leader in the implementation of complex Healthcare IT projects throughout the U.S. In the past seven years, Gene has worked with some of the top healthcare providers to deliver flexible clinical application solutions, saving providers millions of dollars in implementation costs.

He developed a business model that provided comprehensive training and implementation programs that ensures effective and timely execution at a fraction of the cost. Within this model, our process utilizes a national network of pre-qualified resources and established implementation processes to provide training and implementation services at an average 60% cost savings.

Gene oversaw 40 simultaneous training and implementation programs while President and founder of CSI Tech. These programs ranged from full scale project management of large health system implementations to smaller staff augmentation teams. These included projects for clients such as Community Health Systems, Tenet Healthcare, Sutter, Baylor, BayCare, Tampa General Hospital, Orlando Regional, Sentara, Florida Hospital, Baptist, Adventist, Carolina Health System, Cabell Huntington, Southern Regional, WellStar, Metro, Clarian, Radys, Parkland, Texas Health, Nemours Children’s Hospital and many others.

In addition, Gene also worked closely with multiple government agencies and private sector companies to advance the role of Information Technology in healthcare.

Gene began his career in IT consulting, providing solutions for several large national companies before directing the staffing efforts for Fidelity Information Services, a Fortune 200 company with more than 36,000 employees. As Director of Staffing for the St Joe Company (NYSE:JOE), he utilized his IT background to implement an automated recruiting system that streamlined recruiting, reducing costs by more than $1.7m in the first year alone.

Meaningful Use Project Management Optimum Healthcare IT can help guide our clients organization in registering for the respective EHR incentive program(s) for which it is eligible. We do this by providing day-to-day project management of the efforts needed to capture and report data for Meaningful Use measures. Our project management approach ensures the use of vendor-recommended best practices for Meaningful Use in developing the HCIS platform.

We will test the measurement capture solutions and monitor their performance through actual attestation. Optimum Healthcare IT helps our client achieve Meaningful Use attestation by managing Meaningful Use Objective Projects, developing HCIS platforms based on vendor-recommended best practices for Meaningful Use, testing measurement capture before the attestation period, monitoring measurement capture during the attestation period, and closing the projects to prepare for the next stage of Meaningful Use. We provide our client with tools and references to ensure your organization is following best practices and taking all necessary steps to ensure attestation.
