Ensure you are project-ready.
Submitting Expressions of Interest (EOIs)
• Ensure you have the right settings to receive notifications.
• Ensure that when those in your organisation who have registered EOIs

HOW CAN WE HELP?
CustomerBinder Group is a Western Australian-based designer and
manufacturer of proprietary and custom-built pipe suspension
solutions for the oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical,
mining and mineral processing industries.
NeedBinder was required to provide a warranty bond for subcontracts
to the Gorgon LNG project. The bond had a five-year tenor.
The company was still emerging from the 2008 GFC and needed
to free its bank lines for new projects.
SolutionEFIC provided a five-year warranty bond to cover Binder’s
warranty obligations for Gorgon, thereby freeing up the
company’s bank lines to enable it to fund other LNG contracts.

obligations under a pipe laying contract. The company also
needed additional liquidity for existing and proposed contracts.

required, and also an export working capital guarantee facility
to support a standby loan facility from the company’s bankers.

Established Australian based SME looks to expand overseas to increase global footprint and be part
of global supply chain
Needs capex for expansion
Bank cannot provide part or full amount required
EFIC may be able to assist in partnership with bank
Scenario – Expansion Abroad
1.We can assist exporters, companies operating in the supply chain for Australian projects and
companies expanding offshore
2.We issue bonds for eligible contracts with less cash security than the banks.
3.Our support stretches what your bank can provide and enables your company to grow to the next
level.
