• There are Support and Grant Mechanisms mainly from TÜBİTAK (Turkish Scientific and Research Council), Turkish Ministry of Science - Industry and Technology, KOSGEB (Turkish Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization).

If the business idea is found to be positive by TÜBİTAK, support will be given.
Support is in the form of Entrepreneurship Traning & Business Mentoring
to prepare the Business Plan.

Who can apply: Any student who will gradute in one year and any university graduate with no company share.
Support : 100.000 TL (Full Grant)
Support Duration : 12 months

Entrepreneurship Support Programme comprises of 3 Subprogrammes:
• Applied Entrepreneurship Training
• New Entrepreneur Support
• Business Improvement Centre (BIC) Support
KOSGEB – Entrepreneur Support Program
Applied Entrepreneurship Training• It includes training and workshop studies of minimum 60 hours
(entrepreneurship abilities testings, business idea exercises and business plan preparation)
• Trainings are arranged for general and specific (youngs, women, disadvantageous groups) target groups,
• No charge from participants.
KOSGEB – Entrepreneur Support Program
New Entrepreneur Support• This support is available for the entrepreneurs who had
completed the Applied Entrepreneurship Training and started his/her own business, ISGEM entrepreneurs.

KOSGEB – Entrepreneur Support Program
Business Improvement Center (BIC) Support
• Business Improvement Centers are centers founded and operated with an aim of enabling the companies under its umbrella to pass through the critical early years healthily and grow up by extending services such as business improvement consultancy, workshop sites that can conveniently be afforded, shared office equipments and office services.
• Municipalities, universities, special administrations, development unions, professional organizations and non-profit organizations can solely or collectively apply for the Business Improvement Centers establishment.
• Bilkent University Technology Transfer Office (Bilkent TTO) was established on October 1st 2013 within the university.
• Within the call of TÜBİTAK 1513 - Technology Transfer Office Support Program in 2013, applications from 36 universities were submitted. 10 universities including Bilkent University was awarded with the grant started at January 1st 2014.
• Bilkent TTO is a unit under Provost Office. Provost of the University is the Vice Rector who is in charge of Academic Affairs.
