This manual explains how to configure the SugarSync Web Archive for Rack2-Filer Smart cloud storage and how to view binders via an iPad/iPhone/iPod touch.

<Prerequisite> The latest update must be applied to Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0.

<Workflow> 1. Operations on the sending device (PC)

(1) Create an upload destination for the binder on SugarSync

(2) Upload the binder to SugarSync

2. Operations on the receiving device (iPad/iPhone/iPod touch) (1) Configure the settings for connecting to SugarSync

(2) Download the binder from SugarSync and view the downloaded binder

Note The Web Archive is a folder on the SugarSync server for storing data that does not need to

be synchronized with the PC. To share the binder with other users, specify the Web Archive folder as the shared folder.

1 Operations on the sending device (PC)

Log into SugarSync from the Rack2-Bookshelf window and follow the steps below to create a folder in the SugarSync Web Archive.

In the [Linked Folder Selection] window, create a folder in the Web Archive.

Note If the [Create Folder] button is not displayed in the [Linked Folder Selection] window in Step 4,

apply the latest update for Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0.

If you are using Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 trial version (V1.0L10), refer to Additional Information 2

To upload the binder from the PC, drag and drop the binder to the bookshelf in SugarSync.

Specify the account information for accessing SugarSync.

Select the folder that you created in the Web Archive.

Downloading of the binder starts.

When the download is complete, Rack2-Viewer is

launched and the binder can be viewed there.

Additional Information 1: Sharing the binder in SugarSync with other users

Log into SugarSync from the Web browser, and then specify the Web Archive folder that was created in "1 Operation on sending side (PC)" as the shared folder.

The shared folder is now set.

A user who receives the invitation e-mail can access the specified URL by clicking the icon in the e-mail. After clicking the icon, the user then logs into SugarSync to accept the invitation for the shared folder.

In Rack2-Filer Smart for iOS, the same steps as "2 Operations on the receiving device (iPad/iPhone/iPod touch)" can be used to view the binder with one exception. The shared folder must be selected instead of the Web Archive in the [Folder Selection] window (2-(1) Step 4 (Page 10)) to view the binder.

Additional Information 2: How to create a folder in the SugarSync Web Archive through the Web browser

When you use Rack2-Filer Smart V1.0 trial version (V1.0L10), the [Create Folder] button is not displayed in the [Linked Folder Selection] window (1-(1) Step 4 (Page 4)). After clicking [Cancel] in the same window, use the Web browser to log into SugarSync, and then create a folder for storing the Rack2-Filer Smart binder data in the Web Archive.
