In the opening sequence to iron man everything is drawn like a cartoon, it gives a sense of creativity and invention to the film, it also gives a sense or sci-fi, as the main character looks like a futuristic robot.

This screen grab to the left from the opening sequence shows an emblem that looks the military of America, the text on the emblem also indicates this, the previous shot of iron man and this emblem give impressions a battle or war is on the cards, this also links to the sci-fi genre.
