1.2 Agenda Review – OPEN

1.3 Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes– OPEN

The minutes from June 2013 were approved as written.

2.0 ADDITION ON THERMOPLASTICS TO AC7118 – OPEN

The Task Group (TG) initially discussed which Subscribers would be interested in mandating Thermoplastic manufacturing. It was agreed this scope would apply to continouous fibre TP and the TG then mapped the specific processes for thermoplastic part manufacturing.

ACTION ITEM: Subscriber TG members to check within their organizations if Thermoplastics (continuous fibre) will be part of their mandate. (Due Date: 15-Feb-2013)

ACTION ITEM: PRI to email TPC outline developed at October 2013 meeting to the Subscribers to determine interest. (Due Date: 31-Oct-2013)

3.0 ACTION ITEM REPORT-OUT – OPEN

ACTION ITEM: ( from the Oct RAIL) Sub team to review auditor trend data: PRI, Jeremy Phillips, Keith Panuska. (Due Date: 28-Feb-2014)

4.0 CORE CUTTING VS. CORE MACHINING – OPEN

Jeremy Phillips presented the sub team’s review of core cutting vs core machining. Following task group discussion concerning how to distinguish between core cutting and core machining.

ACTION ITEM: Sub Team to revise Table 1 to move core cutting with core trimming , insert check marks in CCA & EMA columns, and place a note with reference to the generation of particulates. (Due Date: 01-Feb-2014)

5.0 FAILURE – MAIN AND SATTELITE – OPEN

It was proposed to amend TG documentation to reflect conclusion form the sub team presentation.

Motion made to amend the TG NTGOP appendix COMP/NMMM/NMMT, AC7118, & Auditor Handbook (AH) 7118 as proposed in presentation. Motion Passed.

ACTION ITEM: PRI to implement changes proposed in presentation. (Due Date: 01-Feb-2014)

6.0 EFFECTIVE OPERATOR SELF VERIFICATION CONTROLS – OPEN

It was proposed to incorporate within the AC 7118 checklist the 3 questions, Auditor Handbook (AH) clarification and glossary of terms defined in the above presentation.

Motion made to incorporate the proposed questions into AC7118, the AH clarifications, and the glossary of terms. Motion Passed.

ACTION ITEM: PRI to implement above the AC 7118 checklist the 3 questions, Auditor Handbook (AH) clarification and glossary of terms defined in the above presentation. (Due Date: 01-Feb-2014)

7.0 ADDITION OF STRUCTURAL BONDING TO AC7118 – OPEN

Andreas Mastorakis presented adhesive bonding accreditation status to the task group, proposed job audit to be circulated. Sub team to continue to work on task and report at the February 2014 meeting.

ACTION ITEM: Andreas Mastorakis to lead sub team in continued development of AC7118, section 16h. (Due Date: 28-Feb-2014)

8.0 HEAT GUN USE AND PLY-BY-PLY INSPECTION – OPEN

Kevin Dowling instructed the TG in the use of heat guns.

Lance Loeks presented In-process Ply Verification requirements which had been included in the October 2013 auditor training.

9.0 OPEN DISCUSSION – OPEN

ACTION ITEM: PRI to amend auditor handbook to reflect comments/editorial errors detailed in presentation. (Due Date: 30-Nov-2013)

ACTION ITEM: John Key to write AH clarification for Q 12d 2.2. (Due Date: 08-Nov-2013)

ACTION ITEM: PRI to add checkbox to checklist for in-process, historical or demonstration audits. (Due Date: 01-Feb-2014)

ACTION ITEM: PRI to check current auditor advisories are consistent with current task group requirements. (Due Date: 30-Nov-2014)

ACTION ITEM: Angelina Mendoza to write a definition for Metal Bonding for inclusion in the glossary of terms in the AH7118. (Due Date: 01-Feb-2014 )

10.0 MEETING CLOSE-OUT – OPEN

Motion was made to approve Jim Weishampel of DuPont as an Alternate Supplier Voting Member. Motion Passed.
