Credit Analyst – FT

Home State Bank seeks an experienced Credit Analyst in Crystal Lake.  Join our close knit team in this exciting and challenging position. This individual will be responsible for performing credit analysis on accounts handled by the Commercial Loan Department to evaluate the financial strength of borrowers. Candidates will demonstrate strong mathematical and analytical skills as well as excellent oral and written presentation skills. This position requires a commitment to assisting the Lending staff to determine risk in conformity with the Bank’s loan policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of one year commercial banking credit analysis or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Home State Mortgage Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Home State Bank, seeks an experienced Residential Mortgage Loan Originator to sell to the Marengo market.

This individual will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service while offering the best possible solutions for those looking for first mortgages, second mortgages and construction loans. Candidates will demonstrate the ability to examine, evaluate, and authorize or recommend approval of customer applications for residential real estate loans. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and experience in the banking and lending industries.
