General Information: 1. Read all rules governing the Otsego County Fair. Dairy and
Beef RULES can be found in the front of the book. 2. Get of Sire shall consist of 4 animals, either sex, any age from
the sire.
3. Produce of Dam shall consist of 2 animals, either sex, any age

4. To be eligible for Champion Rosette exhibit must have won a
blue ribbon in the class.

OPEN & SENIOR CITIZENS CANNING General Rules: 1. Read all rules governing the Otsego County Fair.
2. All entries in the canning section must have been made by the
exhibitor.
3. All canned goods should be displayed in clean quart or pint jars.
Jars used should be standard, colorless jars, sealed with a lid
and ring. Canning Jar Sealed Lid & Ring. Do not put fabric over the lid, jars with fabric over the lid will be disqualified.
4. Jams, jellies and preserves should be in standard jelly glass jars.
No wax can be used to seal jars. No freezer jam or jelly.
5. Entries not properly entered will be disqualified.
6. Exhibitors are responsible for properly placing entry tags
securely on their entries.
7. Make sure jars are clean.
8. Entries must have been processed since last year’s fair.
9. Jars may be opened at the judge’s discretion.
10. Each jar must be labeled. SEE LABELING
11. Only one entry per class number.

mounting board. It may be displayed vertically or horizontally.
5. Mounting board size is 11”x14”. Attach the photo to the
mounting securely, please, no rolled tape to mount photos
onto mounting board. Do not have photos ready for hanging,
as they will not be hung.
6. Exhibitor may use only an 11”x14” single matte board, no
double matting.
7. Sequence of (5) five photos, sized to fit and be mounted on an
