Gallery 1 – Jerwood Makers Open 2015. The fifth edition of Jerwood Makers Openpresents significant new works by ZacharyEastwood-Bloom, Malene Hartmann Rasmussen, Jasleen Kaur, Ian McIntyre andSilo Studio. Their works span hand-finishedceramics, new methods of casting, previouslyunexplored materials and the incorporationof digital processes. Each maker received anaward of £7,500 to realise ambitious newprojects, the result of which were debuted atJerwood Space before touring nationally.Gallery 2 – “Philip Eglin: slipping the trail”: ceramics inspired by Buckley pottery.Gallery 3 – “Colour & Construction”: textilesby Wallace Sewell. British design studio Wallace Sewell was established by HarrietWallace-Jones and Emma Sewell after graduating from The Royal College of Art in1990. This exhibition showcases a selectionof the stunning woven works from the last 23 years of Wallace Sewell’s creative partnership.

Formed on Canvey Island in Essex in theearly 1970ʹs Dr Feelgood has become one of
the most popular live rhythm and blues acts inthe world. They have enjoyed a string of hitsingles in many countries including “Milk &Alcohol”, “Down at the Doctors”, “Roxette”,“She’s a wind up” and “See you later Alligator”.The last album to feature Lee Brilleaux, “Downat the Doctors”, was recorded live on CanveyIsland at the band’s own music bar just twomonths before he died.
