Learning objectives • Aware of basic concepts of open science and open

research data, able to explain them. • Understanding the importance of research data

management. • Aware of what to include in a data management plan

(DMP), able to create a DMP for own research and search solutions for issues to be solved.

• Aware and able to search for repositories of open data and open research data for own research and identify and solve issues to deal with in using open data.

• Aware of what issues need to take into account when opening up own research data, also related to human participants, and able to find information how to deal with the issues in DMP.

Seminar description • 2 seminar days – 18.5 & 12.6 • Data management plan (DMP)

– Turned in by June 4th – Reading 60 pages of readings/materials to

support knowledge creation on open science and data, and the creation of the DMP

– Learning diary on DMP creation by June 10th – Presentation of DMP and learning diary
