Project Description
� O and P Streets between 37th Street and
Wisconsin Avenue require rehabilitation due to
vehicle traff ic and sinkholes f rom century-old
leaking water mains.
� Three key elements:
± Rehabilitating the roadway, sidewalks and streetscape
± Replacing the century-old water mains and local waterservice connections
± Restoring the historic streetcar tracks and yokes

Estimated time frames for all phases are dependent on weather conditions.
Time frames may change due to conflicts involving utility work.
Standard work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Depending on work progress, construction
may also occur from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays. No work will be performed on Sundays.
