**GLOW Children’s Church is available for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade during the 11am worship hour. Before the sermon, children will be invited to go with assigned adult leaders to Room 1 on the first floor for Children’s Church. Parents are asked to pick up your children promptly after worship.
It's almost "Back to School" time, and we are excited to begin a new school year at Central Elementary with our mentoring program, "Friends of CES". We have an active group of mentors but would love to add more! There will be a training session in late August or early September. If you
would like to join this worthwhile project, please contact Celia Ledbetter ([email protected] or 770-789-5560) or Cindy Kesler ([email protected] or 770-366-9953). All that we ask is that you visit your student once or twice a month and just show them you care. If you are interested in mentoring at Carrollton schools or other schools in our area, please contact Mentoring Village. (678) 890-2353 .

Announcing the formation of a new Adult Sunday School class! Sunday School is an important part of our spiritual growth, and provides an important connection point for everyone in our congregation. Our first meeting will be Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 10:00 am. We will meet in the Gathering Room (located in the hall next to the Sanctuary). This first get-together will be to meet and talk about a direction for the future of this class. Anyone is invited – especially those who are not currently involved in a class on Sunday mornings. We are still looking for persons to be a part of our Greeters Ministry Greeters are our front line ministers of welcome to all who enter our worship and educational area. Currently we are looking for volunteers who would be willing to serve once a month or on call (as needed) during our worship times on Sunday mornings. Contact the church office or Rev.
