PART A: INTRODUCTION

1. PURPOSE This document is designed as a simple user guide to help you navigate the system and maximize its full potential.

PART B: ACCESS TO MIDA PAYMENT CHANNEL PORTAL WEBSITE

MIDA Pay Channel Portal is an internet based payment gateway that allows real-time payments for online purchases of products, services or bill payments using FPX service.

Browse the official MIDA Payment Channel Portal website which can be accessed via url: https://mpaychannel.mida.gov.my/

i. Click icon to start creating new account /registration.

ii. You will get the screen page below.

1. STEP BY STEP

1.1 CREATE AN ACCOUNT

The user must create their username and password for the first time in order to get the account activate. Please follow below steps:

i. Click Create New Account at login page. ii. Enter your details such as Username, Password, Email, Registered

Name, Telephone and Address and etc iii. You must ensure to choose the Account Type based on Company,

MIDA Staff or Individual (ex-MIDA Staff/Public User) as shown below.

iv. If wish to see more information about Account Type, click button.

v. Tick the checkbox vi. Click Submit button.

vii. Click Home button if you wish to exit the screen. viii. Once you successfully submit, you will get an email notification on your

account information.

ix. Enter your Username, Password & Captcha into your Login Information. x. Click Login button to proceed to the next level. xi. Refer to the section Type of Payment on page 10 or page 13 for more

information.

Note: Other required information to be filled in.

1.2 FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD

iii. Enter your email address to recover your password.

iv. Click Reset button. v. An email notification will be sent to your email address.

1.3 CHANGE PASSWORD

i. Click Change Password link. ii. In the New Password field, enter your new password. iii. In the Repeat New Password, enter again your new password. iv. Once the passwords match, click SUBMIT button.

1.4 ACCOUNT TYPE: COMPANY

1.4.1 TYPE OF PAYMENT

i. By default, if your Account Type is Company, you will get the screen

for two (2) type of payments after login which are:

Digital Certificate Service Other Payments

ii. If you wish to purchase & pay for Digital Certificate Service, click

Enter button and you will see the information as shown below.

iii. Select the Quantity. The Total Amount (RM) will be automatically displayed. Then click Submit button.

iv. If you wish to purchase & pay for Other Payments for following payment , click Enter button and you will see the information as shown below:

Sales of MIDA Statistical Information (e.g: EStat Digest) Advertisement in MIDA Website/E-newsletter Promotion Activities

v. Select Type of Payment (e.g. Sales of MIDA Statistical Information ). vi. Enter Amount (RM) (e.g.: 350.00) without GST (Goods & Services

Tax) value. GST will be automatically calculated under screen: List of Payment.

vii. Enter information on Payment Details. (e.g.: E-Stats Digest -normal

package-Sept 2017). viii. Click SUBMIT button. ix. Click CANCEL button if you wish to exit the screen.

1.4.2 LIST OF PAYMENT i. On this page, the system will automatically display your list of

payment item as shown below.

ii. Please verify the information first. iii. If you wish to add quantity, click UPDATE PAYMENT button. iv. Click PAY NOW button to proceed to next level. v. A prompt message will be displayed. Click YES button to proceed.

Click NO button, the screen will remain.

1.5 ACCOUNT TYPE: MIDA STAFF OR INDIVIDUAL (EX-MIDA STAFF / PUBLIC USER)

1.5.1 TYPE OF PAYMENT

i. Under this account type, you will get the screen for four (4) type of payments after login which are:

Medical Childcare - MIDA Genius Excess Advance Miscellaneous

ii. If you wish to pay for Medical, click MEDICAL link and you will see the

information as shown below.

iii. Enter all information into required fields (*).

iv. Click Submit button to proceed to next screen.

Note: Other required information to be filled in.

1 Medical Bill No., Amount, Payment Details

2 Childcare-MIDA Genius Amount, Payment Details

3 Excess Advance Advance No., Amount, Payment Details

1.5.2 LIST OF PAYMENT

vi. On this page, the system will automatically display your list of

payment items such as Medical, Childcare-MIDA Genius, etc. as shown below.

vii. Please verify the information first. viii. If you wish to add payment, click ADD PAYMENT button. ix. If you wish to delete, click Delete checkbox and click DELETE

button. x. Click PAY NOW button to proceed to next level. xi. A prompt message will be displayed. Click YES button to proceed.

Click NO button, the screen will remain.

1.6 CONFIRMATION

i. On this page, the system will redisplay your list of payment and you are required to select the bank for Internet Banking as shown below.

ii. You may enter your email address to receive transaction status.

iii. Please read all information stated under Payment Method FPX. iv. Select your bank from Bank Name list.

v. Click PROCEED button to start online banking. You will see the online

banking page. E.g. (CIMB clicks, Maybank2u, etc.) vi. If you wish to discontinue the payment, click MIDA logo and you will be

redirected to page for Type of Payment (Refer to page 10 or page 13). vii. The maximum transaction limit for payment via FPX service is RM

30,000.00 per transaction.

1.7 ONLINE BANKING i. You must have an Internet Banking Account in order to make transaction

using FPX service.

ii. Once you select your bank and click PROCEED button at Confirmation page you will be redirected to online banking login page. You may refer to the below sample screen. E.g.: CIMB Clicks login page.

iii. Enter your User ID & password. iv. Click Request TAC button (Transaction Authorization Code). Fill in the

information on TAC No. & click Submit button. Click Cancel button if you wish to exit.

v. If you click Submit button, you will get the screen to confirm the payment.

Click Confirm button to proceed and click Cancel button to exit from the screen. Upon clicking Confirm button, Status page will be displayed.

vi. Payment details such as Merchant Name (MIDA), Seller Order

Number/MIDA Transaction ID & FPX Transaction ID will be displayed at Request TAC page, Confirm Page & Status Page.

vii. You will be automatically redirected to MIDA Payment Receipt page after

30-45 seconds. viii. 2 email notifications will be sent to your email address which are :

Email on payment receipt sent by MIDA.

Email for FPX transaction status sent by FPX service.

1.8 MIDA PAYMENT RECEIPT

i. You will get MIDA Payment Receipt as shown below.

ii. If you wish to print or to save in pdf format, click PRINT button.

iii. If you wish to return to page for Type of Payment, click HOME button. iv. You may retrieve your previous MIDA Payment Receipt by clicking My

Payment link >click MIDA Transaction ID record link as shown below. v. Note: For Payment on Digital Certificate Service only, you are required to

save the receipt in pdf format and attach it at https://1crs.digicert.com.my/ during certificate registration.

1.9 FAQ’s

The first time you login to access MIDA Payment Channel Login Page, you will need to do the following:

1. Click here to see more details.

Login Issues

Some general things to note if you are having trouble logging in 1. Incorrect Username or Password.

Make sure you're using the correct Username and Password. Refer to the email sent to you during the creation of the Username and Password.

2. I've forgotten my password or I can't remember my Username or Password. It happens! In order to retrieve both, you will need to take below steps.

i. First, request your password by clicking Forgot Password on the login page.

ii. We will resend the Username and Password to the email address for the account holder.

iii. If you're not sure about your email address created under MIDA Payment

Channel, then please call MIDA Customer Service at 03-22673633. 3. How can I tell if I'm logged in? If you are logged in, you will see page with your registered name being displayed at top

right corner of the page. If you are not logged in, you will see the Login Page.

4. Still having problems logging in? Send an email to [email protected] and include your company name and

contact details.
