Welcome again everyone to the 2017, 23rd Annual Harvest Hoedown Sale. This year we are celebrating 35 years in the purebred cattle business and our 35th wedding anniversary! Real exciting milestones in this day and age!

It is great to see the calves are bringing top dollars once again at the auc-tion yards. The enthusiasm is good within the cattle industry. Creekside Cattle Co. purchased their first group of cattle back in the fall of 2002 and in 2003 BSE hit the cattle industry. Over the BSE years we concentrated on building our herd with a strong base of purebred females backed up with top performing bulls. Our daughter Sydney showed an interest in the cattle industry so our long term goal was to build on the purebreds and hope that one day she would pursue the dream.

This year we’re offering three red influenced bred heifers waiting for your appraisal. Each of our heifers has a unique style, from pretty fronted yet powerful, to the powerhouse females that the Simmental industry is known to offer, these heifers have everything in between. Our heifers are bred to a Crossroad Radium son we purchased from the good folks at Blushrose Simmentals in Unity, SK. Our Radium bull is what we like to call “the total package”. His offspring come out small with tremendous vigor and break the scale come fall.

The heifers are fully vaccinated and will be vaccinated with scour guard by sale date.

This year we have three red bred heifers all sired by none other then NAC 15A who is doing a great job adding power and performance to his calves. We also have a Sheriff heifer calf on offer. One of the bred heifers carries the BSW tattoo and is owned with Tyler Stewart(Suntek Livestock) and Richard Bramley (Pure Country Simmentals).We would like to thank all the consignors and Transcon Livestock for the great set of heifers on offer. There will be a 3% administration fee on all VISA or Mastercard purchases applied to the buyer’s invoice. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made.
