ONION JUICE MEDICINE

Why make onion juice medicine?

■ Every once in a while people get sick. However, some don’t take pills or over the counter medicine for the following reasons:

■ 1. Fear of medicinal side effects■ 2. Their body can’t digest pills■ 3. It is against their religion■ 4. The person likes natural remedies

Benefit

■ One major benefit of onion juice medicine is it helps to improve the immune system.

■ Another benefit is that it is inexpensive and saves you the trouble of having to wait in line for prescriptions to be fullfilled

You’ll need

1 medium onion

1 tablespoon of sugar

1 knife

honey

1 plastic container (top included)

Step 1

Peel onion The onion should look like this

Step 2

Cut off the ends of the onion

Step 3■ Cut onion into rings

Tip: Don’t be alarmed if the onion happens to break, you can still use the broken pieces

Step 4: Place sliced onion into plastic container ■ You can place the onion slices in the container whole or you can

separate the rings.

Step 5: Add sugar

■ Try to spread the sugar as evenly as possible.

Step 6: Place the top on the container■ Be sure to close the container tightly. Let it sit for a few hours

Step 7:Pour onion juice into a small cup

Step 8: Add honey

Step 9: Stir then drink

■ Mixture should look like this

Tips/Substitutions

■ A red onion can also be used.■ If using a larger onion add more sugar■ Mixture will be thick; drink water with the mixture if the is too thick for

you.
