OneLINC Volunteer Report
“OneLINC was designed to strengthen the Antelope Valley community by using volunteerism as a tool for community development”
For the past year, we have focused our efforts on developing our three program initiatives: Project Lead, Project Inspire, and Project Connect. Each project uses various recruitment strategies to help expand our reach and impact in the Antelope Valley community. Under these projects we have been able to successfully recruit over 500 volunteers, 16 non-profit organizations, and six potential community board members.
OneLINC Vision: A united community,
proud to volunteer
Our main goal is to increase awareness and interest in volunteerism by encouraging Antelope Valley residents to utilize the OneLINC website when searching for local volunteer opportunities. We also strive to inspire these residents to join our Pledge 10 Campaign, which would require them to complete at least 10 hours of poverty-focused volunteer work, and use our OneLINC database to log and verify their hours.
