Description: Henkel’s plant is truly “state-of-the-art,” producing consistently high quality fatty chemicals from natural fats and oils. This project included the installation of new unit processes in three areas:
Fat and Oil Splitting: A new, continuous high pressure (500 psig) splitter was custom fabricated and installed within the existing production area. The process technology was developed by Henkel and is regarded as the latest and most efficient in the industry.
Glycerine Purification: Ion exchange purification and concentration.
Hydrogenation: The installation of a new hydrogenation reactor.
Oneira’s “task force” approach assured Henkel that the same qualified personnel were on the project from preliminary design through commissioning — an essential commitment for cost-effectiveness and operation success.
