1. Leadership & Governance

Management at all levels commit to and communicate the OneWayvision, expectations and goals, allocate resources, assign roles andaccountabilities, and steward results.

The pace and extent of OneWay implementation is prioritized bymanagement to meet regulatory requirements and respondappropriately to risk exposure.

When working with others, management influences their adoption of programs and practices consistent with OneWay expectations.

The Elements of OneWay

What this means:

- You need to provide the leadership to ensure OneWay succeeds

- Once adopted, we need to apply it and reinforce application

2. Risk Management

Effective risk management principles and processes are employed to

enhance decision making and assist in reducing risk to people, the

environment and assets.

A risk management process is applied to identify, prioritize, appropriately prevent, minimize, mitigate, communicate and manage

risks throughout a project or asset life cycle.

The Elements of OneWay

What this means:

- We need to identify, document, assess and mitigate the risks associated with our activities

-  And, communicate those risks and risk management plans to all people who may beimpacted, as well as to management

- We need to ensure your people are fit for work.

- We apply the same principles to other people we work with.

Each Element Has Expectations

• Describe systems that should be in place

• Describe information that must be available and auditable

• Describe activities that must be done

• Describe behaviours that must be observed

Expectations Cause an Outcome to be Achieved

The Outcome is to Achieve our Vision : Zero Harm
