Although the clinical signs of equine gastric ulcers are hard to spot, it doesn’t mean they’re not a threat.
Studies have revealed that 37% of leisure horses, 63% of performance horses and almost all elite horses could be suffering from painful gastric ulcers, leading to loss of performance, loss of condition and behavioural changes.2-4
