Prayer of Confession
Lord God, for those times when I’ve looked down on others, thinking that I’m better than them because of the way I live my life, please forgive me.

Lord God, for those times when I’ve had an over-inflated picture of my rightness when I stand before you, please forgive me.
Prayer of Confession
I thank you, Father, that Jesus has set me free from the constraints and demands of the Law. Help me to live in that glorious freedom and not be tempted to fall back under the yoke of the Law.

Help me also to relate to others in a way that is based on grace and compassion. Where people are struggling – morally, spiritually, relationally – help me to stand with them, not above them, because we are all one in Christ. In his name I pray. Amen.
