One-Color Cobra WeaveParacord Bracelet Tutorial
The Cobra Weave Paracord Bracelet is a bracelet that was originally created by the military before WorldWar II as an essen�al and wearable survival tool. It is a great bracelet for beginners and is generally aneasy place to start for people who are just ge�ng into paracord cra�ing.
Supplies needed: • 8-10 � of nylon, 550 paracord • One 3/8” Buckle • Tape measure or ruler • Scissors • Lighter
1. Before any weaving can begin,measure your wrist. Sewing tapeworks best for this, but you canalso use a piece of paracord.With paracord, mark where itoverlaps and then hold thatlength up to a ruler. If you aremaking this bracelet forsomeone besides yourself, themost common adult wrist size isbetween 7 and 8 inches.
2. Choose any color of paracordyou’d like and cut a piecemeasuring 8-10 �. In general,you will want 1 � of paracordfor every inch your wristmeasures and a li�le extra toensure you don’t run out. Foldthe paracord in half.
3. Put the folded end of yourparacord through the top ofyour buckle so that there is atwo-inch loop s�cking out theother side.

4. Bring the loop over yourbuckle and �ghten it to createa cow hitch knot. Make surethat your two strands ofparacord run parallel under theknot.
5. Take the two ends ofparacord and put themthrough the top of the unusedside of the buckle making sureto not twist the cords at all.
6. Pull the cords through un�lyou make a loop that is the sizeof your wrist and pinch thecord. While pinching the cord,release the buckle and measurethe bracelet alongside a ruler.The paracord, not including thebuckle, needs to measure1-inch longer than your wristsize.
7. Once you’ve measured, laythe bracelet out like this withone cord to each side and themiddle cords parallel.
8. Cross the le� cord over themiddle two cords and place theright cord over it.
9. Then, bring the right cordunderneath the middle twocords and put it through theloop on the le� side.

10. Before pulling �ght, pinchwhere the cords go throughthe buckle to ensure the lengththat was previously measuredisn’t changed, and then �ghten.Remeasure your bracelet tomake sure it’s s�ll the same asthe previous measurement.
11. Repeat steps 8-10, butopposite. Lay the right cordover the middle two cords,place the le� cord over thecrossed right cord, and bring itunder the middle two cords.Then, push it through theright-side loop and pull �ght.This knot should mirror the firstone.
12. Con�nue to alternate le�and right as you make theknots and push the knotsupward every few to make surethey are �ght.
13. Keep making this pa�ernun�l you reach the end.
14. Once you’ve reached theend, cut each end of theparacord about ¼” from thebracelet.
15. Melt and fla�en each endwith a lighter.
