Headline/title of entry: On target for racial tension?

    Adrian Hedden

    College name: Washtenaw CC

A strong example of enterprise. Good mix of students and facultyquoted in the story. The reporter could have pushed the range directors harder on theirclaims that the targets were coincidental, and tried to gain access on more than twovisits or ask people who use the range to snap a cell phone photo to see if the photosindeed changed. The story also could have benefitted from a stronger exploration of thefact that not even administrators were aware that photographs, not silhouettes, wereused as target practice. What are they going to do about it? Overall, this is the strongestentry of the bunch on a tough but important subject. Good work.
