    iii. Parking meters

    In this type of parking in control zone meter is used for parking by

    which parking fee is taken.

    When parking facility is provided at a separate place away

    from the kerb, it is known as off street parking.

    This type of parking is used at super market, complex & office.

    In this parking the size of stall is 2.3m x 4.75m. (standard size)

    This type of parking design for 400 500 car parking.

    In this type of parking, parking design for max 4 5 floor.

    This parking is use for large area.

    Rules :-

    1. Gradient of ramp = 1 in 10

    1. Gradient of ramp = 1 in 102. Clear floor height = 2.1 m3. Parking stall dimensions = 2.5 m x 5.0 m4. Inside radius of curve = 7 m5. Width of traffic lane = 3.756. Gradient of sloping floor = 1 on 207. Loading standards = 400 kg/m2

    For transportation of vehicle arrangement of ramp or mechanical lift

    In this method with the help of lift cars are lifted from one floor to

    another floor.

    Cars are parked in stall with the help of mechanical trolley.

    Maintenance cost is more.
