Trick or Treat on Halloween

On Halloween I will go Trick or Treat.

I can go with my brothers, sisters or friends.

Halloween is on October 31.

I can wear a Halloween costume.

I can wear make-up, a character t-shirt or a costume.

I will carry a container to collect my goodies.

Some children or adults might wear costumes that are scary. It is O.K. to feel scared.

If I am scared I can ask for a break. I can ask to see the costume up close.

I must remember that the costumes are pretend.

I can ring doorbell.

Someone will open the door.

I can walk or drive with friends and family in my neighborhood.

We will go Trick or Treat. We will walk up to houses.

I will stay with my group.

I will say, “Trick or Treat” or I can show a “Trick or Treat” card.

Then I will get a goody.

I can say or sign “Thank you.”

I will have fun Trick or Treating.

When I am all done, we will go home.

Mom or dad will check my goodies.
