ABOUT IT DEPARTMENT

As the rapid growth of big data presents enormous challenges for organizations, the volume of data is expanding at an alarming rate and the technology environments that the data management is currently dealing with are dominated by standard relational databases, though there is a fairly high level of data-related tooling, including those focused on integration, business intelligence, and data quality. Relational databases are so ubiquitous in most organizations these days that many people may not even be aware that there are other types of databases, let alone when using another database might be preferable. Department of IT is organizing a Faculty Development Program in association with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow to review the challenges faced by the teaching community in this field.

Department of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is accredited by NBA for third time. The main aim of the department is to provide value based and industry-oriented education to the students. The Department of IT is equipped with four world class distinguished labs. Department has Apple iOS and Advanced Computer excellence center to bridge the gap between industry and academics. The goal of the department is to become a center of excellence in the field of IT and related research and to churn out professionals to become leaders in innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity in IT field.
