We are committed to safety above all else, and this commitment is central to everything we do. Our practical and proactive approach creates value for our customers and safeguards our most important asset: our employees.

I’d like to give a final note of thanks to our partners for their important contributions to OHG during the past decade and their continued involvement in the coming years. I would also like to thank our council members and our staff for their dedication and contribution to our learning and work, and look forward with great anticipation to 2013 and beyond.

Major General Kendall P. CoxCommander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Transatlantic Division (TAD)

General Cox of USACE expressed his satisfaction over the quality of work produced by the partnership between Omran and USACE. He stated that “their (Omran) engineering capabilities are exactly what is needed for the country and the region.” He was happy that such work was done by Afghan experts and that Omran’s work is exemplary.

Jackson VanPelt , Project Engineer for AED on KPA Project:

Patricia Rehmat, COR of the Troop Medical Clinic and ANA Training Ranges Mazar-e-Sharif:

“I have worked on 10 projects in the past year, OMRAN is the best company I have had the pleasure to work with. They use quality materials, fully cooperate with decisions from the Corps and customer, make corrections of deficiencies in an expedient manner, have been ahead or on schedule even with many long lead items. The management team is very professional and expect that professionalism at every level. OMRAN’s safety program is a model that all companies should use. Based on my experience, OMRAN is the best Afghanistan has to offer, they can compete with companies from the U.S. at every level of construction, quality, safety and professionalism.”

“The workmanship, safety, scheduling for the TMC and Firing Range are excellent. Omran has and continues to demonstrate overall excellent performance in quality, scheduling, safety, and employee relations. Omran has and continues to apply effective value engineering, using construction methods that expedited enhanced the projects. Omran has and continues to demonstrate effective, customer – satisfying turn-over of the completed TMC and Firing Range Facility. Omran has and continues to produce quality finished products on schedule. Omran has and continues to demonstrate an exemplary safety record.”

Richard Jamar, Project Engineer of USACE-AES on ANA Hospital Addition, Kandahar:

“OMRAN has demonstrated exceptional tenacity and creativity to complete construction of a very complex hospital building and supporting facilities under unusual and difficult conditions. The quality of construction overall is the best I have seen in Afghanistan. Especially impressive has been the project management and technical staff at the site. This group always addresses construction issues straight up and does not avoid or hide problems. This ‘will do’ attitude has instilled great confidence in the USACE staff and makes oversight of this building much easier. Safety personnel are the most conscientious of any contractor that I have worked with this year. The safe and clean site clearly improved operational efficiency. Some mention needs to be made regarding the senior management and design team at the home office who supported and allowed the site personnel to do their jobs – not a very common scenario in Afghanistan. OMRAN’s Hospital Addition-Kandahar team is at the top of the class for Facility Contractors, and they have now constructed the finest facility at Camp Hero to date”.

Nabil Abourialy, Resident Engineer, USACE-AED (Herat and Shindand-Farah):

“Since my arrival to Herat, I have worked closely with Omran on Multiple projects within my AOR totaling over 10 million dollars, Omran has delivered to our office on each of the projects a quality product and a show case for other contractors to emulate with full management cooperation on all levels. The Omran management is committed to conducting business with USACE at the outmost proficiency by providing the desired level of technical expertise to the highest safety standards.”
