In ten years, the Canton Community will be a model downtowncenter surrounded by scenic rural lands and farms. Canton willbe the booming economic, cultural, recreational andeducational hub of St. Lawrence County. Canton will be widelyrecognized for its vibrant downtown center, quiet hamlets andneighborhoods, thriving local businesses, recreationalexperiences, educational opportunities, unique heritage,productive agricultural and its pristine Grasse and OswegatchieRivers. Canton will continue to encourage innovation,connectivity and entrepreneurship while building upon itscommitment to sustainability and diversity to welcome visitorsand businesses.
