PoemTRANSCRIPT
Omnia M. Everything changes; nothing stays the sameNeither power, money, or fameA rising tide lifts all shipsEverything sown shall be ripped
Today we are dirty; tomorrow just dirtTo be reshuffled back to the earthYesterday, we were so tiny and smallTomorrow entombed in a marble wall
Yesterday, I held my fist and made a grudgeInner hate that would not budgeTonight, I open my hand to make a wishTo be never served that cold dish
Though we cling at life so fastEach year harder than the lastWe know its when you let your grip goThat you lessen your load
Everything changes; nothing stays the sameNot even tax rates, or your nameAnd when we meet someday in a mallI might never have known you at all
