Heartfulness Club for Meditation(A Student-Driven Initiative in Universities)
• Student’s initiative within their institution.
• Students’ club/ Society/Association registered and approved by the University, and recognized by HFI
• It is a platform where students themselves initiate such programs, organize and coordinate events.
What is OSS ?
• To create awareness among the youth about spirituality using a scientific and practical approach.
• To give students an exposure to great minds from various different fields of profession and perspective of Life.

OSS: Objectives ?
• Run by a student body preferably under the guidance of a faculty-coordinator/ adviser.
• A core council of regular members for decision making.
• Events will include guest lectures, workshops, Meditation programs, essay writing competitions, Group discussions, retreats and like such programs.
• Publicity-Posters on campus, personal invitations, social media, Sending Invites etc,.
• Meditation sessions to be conducted within campus.
• Maintaining database of introductions to Heartfulness meditation and help with integration.

Inner structure
• This part is purely for core members of the club.• Here, we provide the members training Based on U-Connect
or Stages of Practice of HFN.• These activities are ONLY for inducted club members.• INDUCTION for club is done by senior members. Seniors train
the Juniors. Of course with the help of local advisors/ instructors.
• These members will be eligible for Certificates at the end.

Outer circle
• This is the General team of the club. • This is often recognized as “Meditation-Cell”. • Here, students come and go. Anyone who shows
regularity in the activities of this circle is also inducted into the Core team.
• Here the events organized is for General student body, for anyone and everyone. All the Guest talks, HFN workshops, SDP is all for this circle. – OPEN for ALL the students.

Respected Sir,
In complete acquaintance with our college culture, societies and a blend of activities carried out, we are here to propose to you a manifesto for the inclusion of a forum called ‘Omega science and Spirituality Club’. This initiative is one of its own kind as the major focus of the club is to inculcate a balanced approach towards life in the students. It aims to an efficient and effective lifestyle that fosters both Spiritual and Material existence. OSS is already running successfully in many prestigious colleges like NIT Trichy and JIIT Noida where not only students but even faculties are actively participating in its activities.
Modern lifestyle and the cut throat competition have made life very demanding and stressful. This club strives to cultivate the quality of stepping back and analysing the situation broadly before making any crucial decision in life.
This club intends to organize Inspirational talks inviting eminent personalities who have excelled in their material life and have a value system with them to support their life. Along with it, it will organize Self-Development Workshops, will also provide Open platform for Group discussions on Science And Spirituality. Through these programs students will get exposure to different many perspective of life and therefore different ways of success. We will also organize free Meditation programs for the students and staff regularly, which will be of real benefit for all of us.
The whole initiative will be supported by Omega Science and Spirituality club Network which is a student initiative recognized by Heartfulness Institute, a Global organization that offers various programs on Meditation and Self-development all for Free.
This club will be a chapter of the bigger circle of OSS in our college entirely “By the Student and For the Student”, developing Leadership, team spirit and such most valuable skills. So that students can excel in every facet of their life. It is not just to improve the academic life but to improve personal, professional and spiritual life of future citizens of the world.
