I am very driven person with good people skills; I enjoy working hard and more than happy to work long hours. I pride myself on my organisational skills and am very self-motivated.I am a good communicator and very much a people person.

I am a family man I have 3 children and a long term partner.

I am well-travelled, with a keen interest in sport, particular passion is rugby currently I ’m an active club member both coaching and playing of Lowestoft & Yarmouth Rugby Club.

Work experience

2014-present Fugro Alluvial At Fugro I am the base electrician, I work on maintaining repairing and modifying equipment, such as deep sea power units, motors, winches, spoolers and deck containers, which I then sign off to be resent offshore. The equipment is a variety of 230v, 400v and some lower DC voltage. I have an apprentice and am in charge of all my purchasing of stock and project equipment.

2009-2014 Seajacks Merman MarineAfter College, I became an apprentice electrician in the offshore industry, working on three self-propelled jack up vessels in the wind farm industry.

I worked mainly on installation, maintenance and fault finding on electrical lighting, power circuits, engine room equipment and ups devices. I worked as part of a team on 12 hour shifts 4 weeks on 4 weeks off.

2008-2010 Seajacks UKWhile at college, I worked part time in seajacks head office, in the maintenance division, where I had to input and fault find information within the offshore maintenance programme.A great deal of this included communications with suppliers, offshore crews and solving errors.

2006-2008 Sam Cole Fish MerchantAfter leaving school I was keen to earn money in any capacity, so I took up work in my local fish market, where I worked 6 days a week 14 hours a day, completing orders for clients, taking stock deliveries and cleaning the factory floor.
