1 . Featu re Descri ption, lnteg rity, Eligibility :The bature is a one room prairie sc*rool on a fuundation of poured concrete. The roof of the schooland enfy are covercd with asphalt shingles. The belfiy has wood shakes on the peaked roof. Metalcapping witr finials can be seen at the peak of the scfiool loof- The there is a stump of a chimney. Thelarge, wood framed base, belfiy sits on the roof of the entry. There is a flag pole at the peak of thebelfy. The building measures 28 feet east to west and 20 feet north to south with a 12 by 6 footaddifion for the toilets on the west side and a 14 by I bot enty on the south. The soffits arc dosed.

lltlHe trim boards run under the earles at the peak ends of tte school and enty c well as under tfpeaves of the bathroom addition. The siding is 6 inch wood lap with 6 inch comer trim. At the bottomedge of the siding there is a skirting board with watertable. The north side has many double hungwindow openings with no glass and little ftaming, there are three banks of three windors witt plywoodcovering 5 of the windoy openings. There are two double hung windows, no glass, in the bahroomadditiOn and anoffier on the soulh sid,e wall of the enfy. On the enty south wall is a round toppedwindow under the peak, again no glass. There is a small window on the west wall of the entry that waslikely used br fuel. The entry is reached from a @ncrete platform covered porch area. The enty dooris 5 panel wood, a second door that goes fiom the enfry into the sctrool room is also 5 panel wood. lnthe souttnrest comer of the scfiool room is yet anoffier door that lool€ to go inb the fuel rmm- lloredoors lead into fie bathrcorns on the westwall of the school room.

The walls in the interior walls of the school are finished with lathe and plaster. \Ahinscot covers thelower third of the walls in the school proper. The entry also has lathe and plaster on the walls but nowainscot The ceiling is pressed tin over lathe and plaster. The floor is tongue and groove had wood.The blackboards have been rcmoved. Afuse box and ceiling light fixbres indklate electicity was tlrerc.
