Oil Exports to Boost Royalty Owners as Economy Recovers
The first unrestricted U.S. crude oil shipment in 40 years sailed for European refineries on New Year’s Eve.
An abbreviated list highlighting some key members who were instrumental in helping lift the ban on crude oil exports is found below. = U.S. Senator
ROYALTY OWNERS are better positioned to benefit when the global economy re-bounds thanks to Congress’ 2015 decision to allow U.S. crude oil exports. With a bipartisan vote, lawmakers re-pealed America’s self-imposed 1975 crude oil export ban and helped set the stage for the next act in the nation’s energy re-naissance. Today, America’s abundant light sweet oil is ready to compete glob-ally against foreign heavy, sour grades of crude oil as U.S. drillers lower the cost of production and prepare to get back to work. Over the past two years, U.S. energy producers, hundreds of thousands of oil-field workers and royalty owners’ bank ac-counts have born the direct cost of global economic stagnation and OPEC’s price war to kill U.S. energy production. Despite continued threats, foreign pow-ers have failed to destroy the U.S. oil and gas industry. We will move together into the next oil price commodity cycle smart-er, tougher and leaner. U.S. and foreign oil now are priced more equitably on the global market. As crude oil supply and demand begin to find a balance, America’s energy innovators will slowly put rigs back in the field. Because our policymakers made a good choice, royalty owners will benefit. Please take time to say “thank you” to these members of Congress who took a tough vote to rid America of an outdated policy that made the nation more dependent on foreign oil.
Thank you SAMPLE SCRIPT:
Hello, my name is ______ and I want to thank the congressman/senator for helping lift the ban on crude oil exports. You helped give U.S. oil a chance to compete against foreign oil on the world market. Please continue to support domestic oil and gas exploration and we private mineral owners who are an important part of the U.S. energy renaissance.
