State Capital ● Columbus is Ohio’s state capital.● It is located almost directly in the middle
of the state. ● The nickname of Columbus is “The
Discovery City.” ● It is the capital of the largest city in Ohio.

❖ Evidence shows that the Ohio Valley was inhabited by native people as early as 13,000 BC.
