GaGa was the eldest child of Italian American parents in New York City. Playing piano by ear from the age of 4, she went on to write her first piano ballad(抒情曲 ) at 13 and began performing at open mic nights by age 14.At that time she was laughed at because of her weird and rebel(叛逆的 ) modeling（造型） .

At age 17, GaGa gained early admission to New York University‘s Tisch School of the Arts. There, she studied music and improved her songwriting skills

By the fourth quarter of 2009, she released her second studio album The Fame Monster, with the global chart-topping lead single "Bad Romance"
