THE WORLDS MOST UNIQUE MUSIC FESTIVAL IS BACK!

Secret Solsce fesval is back for the third me between the 16thand 19thof June 2016, smack bang in the middle ofReykjavk, the worlds most northerly capital city. Weve been called the most unique music fesval on Earth by severalnews sources, partly due to the fact were held at a me when the sun never sets for the enre 96hrs of our event

weekend.

This year, we have an absolutely stellar lineup including RADIOHEAD, DEFTONES, OF MONSTERS AND MEN, DIEANTWOORD, JAMIE JONES, SKREAM, ST. GERMAIN, ROISIN MURPHY, ACTION BRONSON, APOLLONIA, ARTDEPARTMENT, M.O.P., GENERAL LEVY, and many more from Iceland and around the world.

We hope youll be joining us between the 16thand 19thof June 2016 in Reykjavk, for Icelands ULTIMATE summer fesvalexperience in the midnight sun.

A CARBON NEUTRAL EVENT

Secret Solsce is proud to be cered a CarbonNeutralevent in 2016. This has been achieved through a veried carbon

oset plan, as well as all on-site energy needs for producon and sound being provided by 100% renewable geothermalpower. On top of this, weve partnered with forward-thinking brands like Toyota Iceland who have provided us with hybridvehicles, and Icelandic Glacial Water, who assist us with a comprehensive recycling plan on the fesval site. We also havethe only Eco Cered campsite in Iceland. Finally, you may spot the WOW air branded wind turbine created by Icewindnear our front gate accreditaon. This incredible piece of engineering literally develops electricity from thin air, furtherhelping to lower our impact on the environment!

RECYCLING ON SITE

We have a dedicated recycling team on the Secret Solsce 2016 site this year, as well as recyclable cardboard binsprovided by Icelandic GlacialWater. We ask that you help us leave the smallest impact on the environment possible, byrecycling as much as you can during our 2016 event.

THE SECRET SOLSTICE TOYOTA AURIS

On display next to the front gate at Secret Solsce 2016, youll nd our custom Auris hybrid provided by Toyota Iceland.Through the use of hybrid vehicles on our fesval site, were able to lower our carbon footprint more than if we solelyused non-hybrid petrol or diesel vehicles.

RADIOHEAD GLOBAL LISTENING PARTY

Our headline act Radioheads latest albumA Moon Shaped Poollands on Spofy on Friday the 17thof June, which is theday the act will play Secret Solsce 2016. The band have announced a global listening party, including a day-longworldwide stream of the new album on this day. This will be truly a special day for Radiohead fans worldwide, thoughespecially for those of you at Secret Solsce 2016 as youll be seeing them live in Reykjavk.

TICKETING & ENTRY

GENERAL INFO

Tickets for Secret Solsce 2016 start at 24,900kr (approx 141/$201/179) for a full 4-day event pass. If you dont alreadyhave one, you can get one via our ckeng partner Tix.is, or at the front fesval gate if not already sold out. Alternavely,you can go VIP at Secret Solsce 2016 for 34,900kr (approx 198/$282/251). There are no single day passes available atour 2016 event, only passes for the enre 4 days.

WRISTBAND EXCHANGE

You will need an ocial 2016 wristband to access the Secret Solsce fesval site, which you will receive when your fesvalcket is scanned in at our wristband exchange near the front gate. In order to beat the queues, we recommend youexchange your cket for a wristband before the fesval starts. We will be opening wristband exchange on Tuesday the 14 thof June, and Wednesday the 15thof June 2016, the two days prior to the fesval gates opening, between 11AM and 7PMboth days, at the accreditaon booths next to the fesvals front gate. Alternavely, you can receive your wristband duringany of the fesvals standard opening hours.

PURCHASING TICKETS

As long as fesval passes are sll available before the event, you can purchase via our ckeng agent Tix. Simply head towww.x.is, purchase a pass, and then print out to bring to the fesval site in order to exchange for a wristband. Limitedckets may also be available at the fesval gate during the event, however we cant guarantee availability if we sell out.

VIP BENEFITS

VIP cket holders can access all VIP bars on the fesval site, receive a physical program on entry to the event, priorityservice areas at all bars, exclusive discounts at Reykjavk bars and restaurants, and receive guaranteed entry into the Helaer-hours arena.

INN BENEFITS

Limited to only 50 ckets, the inn (Odin) pass is the ulmate way to experience our 2016 event. With entry to privatearsts bars, inn personal assistants, 24 drink tokens per day, food, drink, and so much more, theres no other cket atSecret Solsce 2016 like the pass named aer the father of the Norse gods.

TICKET UPGRADES

You can upgrade your exisng Secret Solsce 2016 pass to a higher-level pass (for example, standard cket to VIP pass) atthe gate, as long as there are sll ckets available. The fee for this would always be the dierence between your currentpass, and the pass youre upgrading to. Keep in mind that this is based on availability, we cannot upgrade if the levelyoure wanng to upgrade to is sold out.

VIP BARS

There are several VIP bars on the fesval site, that only guests with a VIP wristband (or higher, like inn) may enter.These have been lavishly decked out for comfort, and can be the perfect place to chill out for a while if the main fesvalareas are geng too energec for you.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Guests 18 years of age and older can enter with no restricons, apart from not being able to drink on site unl 20 or over.Parents or legal guardians with a fesval cket may bring children between the ages of 11-17 on site, providing they alsohave a fesval pass, and are accompanied at all mes. Kids aged 10 and under enter free, providing accompanied at all

mes by a parent or legal guardian at all mes. Keep in mind we will be searching all bags on entry, and reserve the rightto deny entry to anyone if we think the safety or security of the site or guests could be at risk.

SIDE EVENTS & ON-SITE ACTIVITIES

GENERAL INFO

Secret Solsce isnt just known for our main event, but for our world-rst side pares over the solsce weekend. Withthe worlds only events inside a glacier and volcano, a midnight sun boat party in the Atlanc, a geothermal pool party ina 120+ year old lagoon, and more, you can customise your fesval weekend however you want it. Though with many ofthese already sold out, youd beer be quick if you want in.

HORIZON PARTY

The last side event sll with ckets available, our Horizon pares are hyper-exclusive cketed aer pares for only 200guests, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night of our fesval weekend. At a super-secret locaon next to the Atlanc, justsouth of Reykjavk, some of the worlds best DJs will play into the night during the midnight sun. Tickets are available for7,900kr (approx. 44/$63/56) via Tix.is or our website.

Hlemmur Square is the ocial hotel and hostel of Secret Solsce 2016. They will be holding a hangover brunch on Fridaythe 17th, Saturday the 18th, and Sunday the 19thof June 2016, to help you get over the night before, and get you startedright for the next day of the fesval. Starng at 9AM and running unl 12NOON to coincide with gates opening, well havespecial guest DJs every morning, plus Hlemmur Square restaurants incredible food and hangover cocktail to kickstart yourday. All fesval wristband holders will receive a 10% discount on food and drinks at Hlemmur Square hotel between the16th-19thof June, this includes the hangover brunch events!

Our ocial launch party for Secret Solsce 2016 is happening from 9PM on Wednesday the 15th

UEFA EURO CUP

We will be broadcasng all UEFA Euro Cup games that are played during the Secret Solsce 2016 fesval weekend righton the fesval site, at our Vking Eang Hall and sports bar. However, the Iceland vs Hungary game on Saturday the 18thof June will be broadcast live from our main stage, meaning this is one weekend you denitely dont need to choosebetween being a football or music fan!

TRAVEL, TRANSPORT, TOURS, & MORE

GETTING HERE

Secret Solsce fesval is located very close to the center of Reykjavik, as well as most major hotels, hostels, andother accommodaon. A taxi from downtown to the fesval site will only cost you around 1200kr, or you can walkthere in about 15-20 minutes, depending on where youre staying.

PARKING

There is no parking directly on the fesval site available to guests. The closest available parking for guests can be

found across the road from the Laugardalsvllur Naonal Stadium, that is only a few minutes walk from the fesvalsite.

CAMPSITE

Our campsite is located 250m north of the fesval site, a short walk past the Laugardalsvllur Naonal Stadium andWorld Class gym. Each person on the camp site will need to have a camping wristband, which you will need to getat the same place you acquire your fesval wristband, if you have purchased a camping pass. Please note that it isstrictly one camping pass per person, not per tent. Nobody except those with a camping pass will be allowed onthe campsite, over all hours of the event. Campers must bring their own equipment, excepng in the instance youhave purchased a pre-pitched tent via our partner Rent-A-Tent. We ask all campers to remember that the campsiteborders on a residenal area, and that during late hours we request noise is kept to a minimum.

SECURITY

Security will be visible almost at all me on the Secret Solsce site (theyre not gonna watch you take a pee, obviously),so feel free to approach them is you need help, see a situaon that needs aending to, or you spot something out of theordinary. You will also nd the security tent close to the entrance of the site.

MEDICAL

If youre injured, feel sick, need rst aid, or have spoed someone who needs medical assistance, note that the rst aidtent is near the main entrance with security. In case of an emergency, please approach any member of the Secret Solscesta on site, or our security team for assistance.

No professional recording equipment (DSLR or similar professional mirrorless cameras) are allowed onto the fesval site,unless you are part of the media and have a photo pass on your camera.
