Jefferson Parish Department of Purchasing is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP’S) from qualified firms to provide OXYGEN INJECTION SYSTEMS FOR ODOR AND CORROSION CONTROL, for the Jefferson Parish Department of Public Work - Sewerage.

The Sewerage Department desires to establish a 4 (four) year contract with a qualified vendor to install, operate and maintain equipment as required to introduce sufficient quantities of dissolved oxygen into the sewer transmission system to prevent hydrogen sulfide production for odor reduction and corrosion prevention. The primary objective is to reduce odors emanating from the Jefferson Parish East Bank Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Proposer shall provide, at a minimum, on-site oxygen generation unit(s), dissolution system(s), injection/distribution device(s), and other required ancillaries for a complete and functional turn-key installation.

Jefferson Parish Department of Purchasing is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP’S) from qualified firms to provide REMEDIATION SERVICES FOR VARIOUS JEFFERSON PARISH DEPARTMENTS for the Jefferson Parish Department of General Services.

These services may include, but not be limited to, all labor, material, and equipment necessary to provide cleaning, water extraction, drying services, structure and contents cleaning, temporary power, documentation restoration, mold remediation, contamination containment, temporary heat and/or air conditioning (for remediation, drying, etc. and for comfort), debris removal, temporary board-up and/or securing of property, interior tear out, dehumidification, deodorizing, removal of wet and/or other materials which pose a health risk, properly dispose of all remediated debris which may or may not have possible evidence and/or suspicion of mold and/or mildew growth or other hazardous growth or contamination due to sudden and accidental loss/catastrophic water intrusion events in Jefferson Parish owned buildings and/or related structures

Thanked Chris Hernandez for repairing the lighting at the baseball field and asked if the ruts in the field could be repaired. It was reported that would be done as soon as weather permitted.
