We began our march to NTC 25th year anniversary in 2016. That and Camaro 50th anniversary in 2016 ( first year build 1966 ). We began distributing the 25th NTC anniversary koozie, 1 free to each member. We also announced that there will be a 25th Anniversary T-shirt program starting, to have orders and monies in from members by 1/30/2016 in hopes of having the shirts ready by the kick off meeting 3/5/2016. For those that want a Koozie mailed to them, send me a stamped self addressed envelope. Mail to Bill Roy 301 Frazier Dr. Hurst, Texas 76053. 2016 Kick off will be 3/5/2016. I have asked for location input ( see e-mails ) for a central location that can fill our needs which are: 1) Buffet style service and each person paying as they go through the line ( no table checks), 2) Plenty of parking for approximately 40 cars without killing the parking for the eateries other regular customers 3) Semi-private area where we can hold our kick off without disrupting the other patrons of the eatery. These are MUST HAVES, not would be nice. If the place does not have these 3 items, don’t send me e-mails that say a place has great food but can’t accommodate the 3 items listed above. I need to finalize by 2/12/2016 so I can check it out and make any necessary reservations and get the info out to all the members. 2016 Dues are due began last month. Dues are still $20 for 2016. If you joined NTC after 10/1/2015, you are paid up for all of 2016. Here is where you can get due payment options: Go to the NTC web site, click on Club info, go to the bottom of the page and either click on the PayPal logo or see the mailing address for check payment. Note checks should be made out to Bob Senich, not to NTC. Dues are due by 4/1/2016. Brad Howell celebrates his 9th year and 108th newsletter edition as NTC editor with this newsletter. He assumed the duties October of 2006 and published his first newsletter January 2007. Thanks Brad for the dedication, enthusiasm and creativity on the job. I was looking to sell my Silver 69 Z28 Rally Sport show car to look for a driver. The 2 options I wanted a new car to have, other than being a Camaro, were power steering and air conditioning! This car was bought by the Roger Frank family ( a noted BJ buyer and seller, who has since passed) from Barrett Jackson in 2013 and had been stored in their Scottsbluff, NE warehouse of Frank Motors. I got the car in a trade deal. They paid me additional cash and paid for delivery and pickup of both cars. My old Z is currently in their showroom and maybe for sale at BJ in Scottsdale this month.

How long have you own the car?

3 MONTHS!

What would you do differently with the car? I've already added mirrors and seatbelts, not that they were required, but I feel safer driving with them. I changed the transmission pan over to a Moroso polished billet aluminum with drain plugs and added the billet aluminum grill accents. I'm looking to have engine updated and paint refreshed.

payable to BOB SENICH, and mailed to NTC- 208 Westwood Dr.- Murphy, Texas 75094

The annual North Texas Camaros Club dues cover the operations of the club ie: Web site, E-mail

"list" support, domain registration, picnic food , dyno trophies, and charitable donation in the clubs

name to Toys for Tots in December. We will also upgrade the club banners, signs, and show

stanchions.

There was an e-mail about 2007 events and asking for co-ordinators. This was also posted on the

forum. We would like members to consider 2007 event co-ordination. We will finalize at the March

kick off meeting in Ft. Worth the events and co-coordinates. Thanks to all those that helped in 2006

for the co-ordinator support.

The March kick off meeting will be held at:

The Rail Head B-B-Q in Ft. Worth - 2900 Montgomery St. Mark this on your calendar 3/3/07.

You can participate in the 2007 NTC planning and after, go to the Ft. Worth Rod And Custom

go out of sight again this year.

See the NTC web site "EVENTS' TAB and WWW.HOTRODHAPPENINGS.COM

for a listing of shows, cruises and other events.

Feature Car Story How did you acquire this car? I had owned a pro street Camaro in the past, and was contemplating sell or trading my 67 RS Camaro to obtain another. I saw this Camaro on EBAY, and it was in Oklahoma City. My fiance Linsey and I drove up to look a the car sone Saturday morning with my pick up and trailer (just in case), and made the deal. I bought it from a guy named Bron who had it for 27 years. He was very knowledgeable, and just a great guy. He owned when the back-half was fabricated in Tyler Tx, and so he knew all the pertinent history. After we brought the car back to Texas, we decided not to sell the '67, but to keep them both. How long have you own the car? Since April 2005 Anything interesting happen during your acquisition or ownership of the car? The color of the car is one of those that you either love it or hate it. It was built / painted in '92, when pastels were popular. That was when I really enjoyed the pro-street movement, so I like the color...for now. I get kidded by my friends about the "pink" Camaro, and have found the occasional Mary Kay car on the windshield wiper. I know a lot about the car is "dated", but I prefer to call it "OLD SCHOOL". What would you do differently with the car? 2007 may see a color change for the car still deciding on what color. I' ll definitely change the spool for a posi-trac or locker. Any company or service that deserves high praise for helping with your car? I am deeply grateful to Linsey for being so understanding, supportive, and putting up with me being a "car" guy. Thanks to my brother Jay and Jimmy Cauthen Jr. for helping me aquire the Camaro. Also thanks to Bill Roy and other North Texas Camaro Club members for making us feel so welcomed. The quality of the Camaros in this club is only surpassed by the quality of the club members!!
