PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 19 /2015

SUB:- Submission of (Negative Statement / certificate' for exportproceeds realized in respect of shipping bills with LEO date between01/04/2013 to 31/03/2014.

1. Attention is invited of all the exporters, Custom Brokers and all members of

Trade to Public Notice No. OS/2009 dated 07/03/2009 issued from F. No.

S/3-Misc-1/2009 DBK/ACC(XOS)ACC, wherein it was stipulated that the

exporters will submit a certificate from the authorized dealer (s) or-

Chartered Accountant providing details of shipment which remain

outstanding beyond the prescribed time-limit including the extended time,

if any, allowed by the authorized dealer / RBI on a 6 monthly basis. Such

certificates shall be furnished by the exporter, authorized dealer wise for

each port.

2. This BRC Module was replaced with RBI BRC Module w.e.f. 31/03/2013.

However, due to technical reasons, new RBI BRC module shall provide

Forex Realization data for shipping bills with LEO dated from 01/04/2014

onwards only. Hence, monitoring of the realization proceeds in respect of

shipping bills with LEO date from 01/04/2013 to 31/03/2014 is to be done

under the BRC Module.

3. Accordingly, all exporters are requested to submit the details of realization

received / certificates from their Authorized Dealers / Chartered

Accountant for EDI shipping bills with LEO date from 01/04/2013 to

31/03/2014 immediately and not later than 27/01/2016 to the Nodal

Officer. The above details shall be submitted in the prescribed format of

six-monthly period (i.e.) January-June-2013, July-December-2013 and

January-June 2014.

~,4. Shri V.M. Ambre, Superintendent of Customs, Drawback/XOS Section has

been appointed as Nodal Officer to receive these Statements/Certificates.

In case of any difficulty faced by the exporters in submitting / entering such

statements in the EDI module, they may meet / contact over Telephone

either Nodal Officer (TEL.NO.022-26816693) OR Shri I. N. Rachuti, Asstt.

Commissioner of Customs (Drawback) (TEL. NO. 022-26816660) for further

enquiry and solution of their difficulties.

5. All the exporters / CHAs / Trade Members are hereby directed to co-

operate in timely submission of these negative statements / certificates for

the above mentioned period without fail. Any difficulty in the

implementation of the above procedure may be brought to the notice of

undersigned.
