Advertisement for the purchase of text books and reference books Madhabdev University on behalf of The Mission Director, RUSA (Assam), Guwahati invites
applications only from publishers, distributors, firms for the purchase of text books, reference books for TDC courses to be supplied at Central Library, Madhabdev University, Narayanpur, Lakhimpur,
Assam. The list may be collected by depositing fee for Rs.1000 in cash or demand draft drawn in favour of The Registrar i/c, Madhabdev University, Narayanpur, Lakhimpur, Assam. The applications
may be submitted latest by 25th
July, 2020 under the following conditions:- 1. The books must be supplied as per list enclosed herewith in Annexure-A 2. The list of books to be submitted in hard and soft copies mentioning (i) Sl.No, (ii) Name, (iii)
Author, (iv) Publisher, (v) Price and (vi) offered discounts against text books and reference books separately. Bidders may submit on prescribed Format affixing court fee of Rs.8.25 for “Supply of Books” from reputed publishers/vendors /distributors/ suppliers in India, to the Registrar i/c, Madhabdev University, Narayanpur, Lakhimpur, Assam. (Annexure II)
3. Interested vendors/distributors/suppliers may submit the applications along with one copy each of the requisite documents to the Office of the Registrar, Madhabdev University, Narayanpur, Lakhimpur Assam.
4. The books to be supplied in latest/current edition only. 5. Printed prices of the books should not be altered in any way namely by pasting sticker, by hand
written or stamping etc. 6. Printed, binding (stitched), paper of books should be of best quality. No freight for to and fro
transportation shall be paid. 7. The Books should be consigned to the University directly. 8. Maximum rate of discount against each books offered by the supplier may be
mentioned in the application. 9. Publisher/Distributor must submit up to date Trade License, Income Tax Return, PAN &
GSTIN. 10. Publishers/Distributors must have previous work experience of executing a single work
order of value not less than Rs. 5 lakhs in any Govt. department/University. 11. Publishers/Distributors must have an annual turnover of at least Rs.15 lakhs in the last
two years. 12. Publishers/Distributors must have membership of Federation of publishers and booksellers
association (GOC). 13. Publishers/Distributors must be a member of All Assam Publishers and Booksellers
Association. 14. Distributors/participants must have “publisher’s authorization certificates”. 15. The Publishers/Distributors should have its base in Assam with supporting documentary
evidence. 16. Every submitted title must have ISBN.
17. Without ISBN of a title of a book will not be expected for selection. 18. The selection committee has full right to select or reject any title of the books without
assigning any reason. 19. The book supplier has to supply the new books in good condition and shall be responsible for
misprint, defected piece from publisher, and any damaged books due to any reasons during
transportation, etc. If any books found damaged, the recovery for the same will be adjusted from outstanding payment/pending bills of the book supplier. Penalty will be imposed for
failure of delivery on stipulated time. 20. The quantities of textbooks and reference books to be supplied at least 2 copies against each
text books and reference books. The quantity may vary as per decision of the selection committee.

22. Eligible bidders may be present at the time of opening of EOI. 23. The firms/suppliers are requested to submit copies of the following documents along with the
EOI, failing which their Bids shall be rejected and shall not be further considered: - a) Copy of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)
b) Copy of PAN/GIR card, GST registration certificate

c) Original EOI duly signed with seal of the firm on each page in token of acceptance of the terms and conditions of the tender.
