1. Good Projects in the Past- Livelihood Database 1. Sustainable Livelihoods for Affected Communities (Indonesia) Improved the livelihoods of coastal communities affected by

2004 earthquake and tsunami.

2. Improving Poor Farmers’ Livelihoods Through Rice Information Technology (Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam)

Improved the livelihood of poor farmers through application of agricultural information, using Rice Knowledge Bank, a digital service of IRRI.

“Almost 5,000 farmer intermediaries were trained to use the digital service.”

3. Supporting Participation in the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation Trade Facilitation (Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal)

Strengthens the technical and institutional capacity of three countries’ customs. Promotes effective operations of digitally automated customs management system.

4. Processing of Grant and TA

The Government of Japan approves the project

Interested proponents may contact ADB staff in ADB Country Office or at Headquarters

The ADB staff prepares Grant or TA proposal

OCO reviews the proposal to ensure consistency with JFPR objectives and guidelines set by the Government of Japan

ADB approves the project
