We celebrate the Eucharist:
Those who receive Communion may receive either in the hand or on
the tongue, and the decision should be that of the individual receiving,
not of the person distributing Communion.
If Communion is received in the hand, the hands should first of all be clean.
If one is right handed the left hand should rest upon the right. The host will
then be laid in the palm of the left hand and then taken by the right hand to
the mouth. If one is left-handed this is reversed. It is not appropriate to reach
out with the fingers and take the host from the person distributing.
We welcome friends, visiting family and
guests to our beautiful church. We pray that you feel at home here and that you know that
you are welcome any time you are visiting or to make this your
permanent home. Please take a minute to complete a
“Welcome Card” located in the pew and place it in the
Collection Basket.
We have been preparing all of Lent for this week and for even longer celebration of Easter, which begins
TODAY and ends in 50 days on Pentecost. As Christians this marks the holiest time of the year for us. Our
hope and prayer is that we give it the attention it deserves, for without the Passion and Resurrection of our
Lord that we remain focused on the death of Christ on the Cross for our sins.
May this Easter day and the coming fifty days of the season of Easter be filled with joy, hope and
encouragement as we celebrate the Lord’s resurrection. We of course celebrate not only His resurrection,
but our ability through His Passion and death to share in the glory of the resurrection.
Thank you for joining us in this celebration of Joy, Hope and the promise of Our Savior’s unconditional love
for all. Join all in shouting:
“Alleluia—HE is Risen!”

Respect Life
By rising from the dead, Jesus did not only conquer
his death; he conquered ours. We are a pro-life people, and reject the false solutions of abor-tion, infanticide, and euthanasia. Rather, we say yes to every life, no matter how vulnerable or bur-densome. It is an Easter yes; it is a yes filled with hope!
To all who donated to the Easter Basket Easter Egg Hunt & Resurrection Egg projects! We are donating over 40 Easter baskets filled with goodies, toiletries and treats to the new Family Housing Network day shelter, had 25 children/families participate in the Resurrection Egg activity & have ample for those to enjoy the Easter Egg Hunt TODAY after Mass in Berntsen Park.
We welcome the following to our Catholic Faith and to our Visitation Family!
Receiving Baptism, Confirmation &

extra time to ensure
that all doors and
windows are locked
and the thermostats
are lowered when using any of
the Parish facilities, especially
the Church. All groups MUST
be sure to safely secure the
