INTRODUCTION

Bluboats GmbH owns an event fleet of six blu26 One Design yachts. The boats have all been built in the winter/spring 2012 at Winner Yachts in Enkhuizen, Holland and then delivered to Switzerland. In the year 2012 and 2013 the yachts have been used for the Volvo Match Race Cup (National Swiss Match Racing Circuit and Championship) as well as in the year 2012 for the St. Moritz Match Race (Part of the World Match Racing Tour / ISAF Match Racing World Championship). In the year 2014 the fleet was used for the German Match Racing Championship. The yachts are well maintained and have been regularly serviced. They are now stored in Ermatingen, Switzerland.

THE BOAT

The blu26 was created as an One Design yacht for multiple use. Over 40 units have been built and are sailing in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Holland and Montenegro. Her all-round sailing abilites and low through-life costs make the blu26 ideal for the use of schools, sailing events, regatta series and match racing. With it’s narrow beam and sliding keel system, road

transportation is simple, safe and easy. Once on the water, the blu26’s solid construction and integral bouyancy gives a great sense of security. To be able to race and match race already in lightest breeze, the blu26 has been equipped with 140% Genoa. With more the 10 knots it can be exchanged with the non overlapping Jib. The one design class sails with a masthead spinnaker with a size of 70 m2, for match racing often a smaller fractional spinnaker with a size of 54m2 is used. Optionally an for sailing single handed or with small crew, a gennaker can be set straight from the bow. The spacious cockpit of the blu26 can take easily four to six crew.

EQUIPMENT OF THE BOATS

The six boats are fully equipped, ready for racing and transport. The equipment contains the following: - Mainsail Dacron One Design Sailnumbers SUI 33 – 38 - Genua Dacron OD - Jib Dacron OD - Spinnaker masthead OD These OD fleet sails have colored sail heads, three in red and three in blue. Masthead OD spinnakers are as well half in red and half in blue.

- Newly serviced PEGA boat trailers 2100 kgs with splashes,

aluminium boxes, mast supports, ratched straps and accessoires.
