Sea World/ Wet’n Wild Excursion

We would like to celebrate another fantastic year at Coffee

Camp School.

We will be going on an excursion to Sea World & Wet ’n Wild

this Friday 13 December.

All students will need to bring :

Water, recess , lunch, hat, swimmers, towel and a bag to put wet

clothes in.

Christmas Tree Night

End of Year Presentations

Our Christmas Tree Night is our end of year celebration and acknowledgement of the year’s achievements. This will be held from 5.15pm next Tuesday 17 December at the school. Each student will be presented with a book award which acknowledges their achievements for the year.

P&C veggie burger & salad The P&C will be providing free veggie burgers and salad for families who come early. Families may also choose to bring their own picnic tea. If you want to enjoy a picnic before the formalities please come at 5.15pm. Please BYO picnic blankets, chairs and drinks. Helpers will be needed with serving and also with cleaning up. Please do your share. The formalities will start at 6.00pm.

Games you could play

Rhyming Time: after writing a list word, think of words that rhyme with the list

word, make a silly sentence. Like: bird-word-heard, “I heard the

bird sound out a word.”

Grapheme Split: Cut out small square pieces of paper. Before writing the

word, let your child make a fist and lift one finger each time she/he sounds

out one sound( phoneme) in the word. Each sound (phoneme) is written on one

square. Place them in the correct order. When writing the next word with the same

sound, the already created squares can be reused.

Like: G-oo-d-b-ye, lift up 5 fingers – write on squares: G oo d b ye
