Castrol Tection DD Monograde is a high performance diesel engine oil, specially formulated foruse in Detroit Diesel 2-Stroke engines, operating with diesel fuels up to 0.5% maximum sulphur.

Benefits• Protection against deposit formation. 2-stroke engines are very sensitive to deposits which

can form on the exhaust valves, leading to burnt valves, a loss in engine power and ifunchecked, to complete engine failure. Castrol Tection DD Monograde has a special lowash-forming formulation to minimise deposit build-up, this ensures efficient engineoperation and longer engine life.

Castrol EP RangeProtection for manual transmissions

Castrol EP 80 and EP 80W-90 are manual transmission fluids designed to lubricate spur andhelical gears, where the manufacturer specifies use of an extreme pressure (EP) lubricant. Their primary application is for use in commercial vehicle gearboxes, steering boxes and idlers.They can also be used in hypoid gears requiring API GL-4 performance.

GREASESThere are many parts on, in or attached to your vehicle that canwear – and therefore need regular lubrication.

Wherever two surfaces rub together wear can occur, so you need to keep these parts welllubricated with grease. The film of grease will prevent sticking, squeaking and groaning, andprevent components wearing out prematurely, or in an extreme case failing altogether. Greasesalso keep surfaces protected from moisture and corrosion.

Castrol LMX is a high performance lithium complex grease for use in ball or roller bearingsoperating at high speeds and high loads. It is particularly suited for use in the wheel bearingsof vehicles operating over long distances, or where prolonged heavy braking is likely to givehigher than normal hub temperatures.

Castrol Hyspin AWH-M is designed for use in most hydraulic systems which require anti-wearprotection. It is ideal for equipment subjected to cold start conditions and high temperaturecontinuous running.

Benefits• Excellent protection against wear and corrosion leading to longer operating life, reduced

maintenance and downtime.

• The product can tolerate some water ingress as it separates easily and does not deteriorate in the presence of water, so remains functional.

The coolant system on a vehicle is often the most neglected part,but is actually one of the most important.

A significant number of engine failures are related to coolant system malfunctions. Taking careof your cooling system reduces downtime and the inevitable cost of repairs. Always use thecorrect dilution for your climate to be sure of total protection.

Castrol Antifreeze is an engine coolant concentrate, for both petrol and diesel engines. It is amixture of monoethylene glycol and selected chemical agents, containing no nitrites, aminesor phosphates.

Benefits• It provides effective engine cooling without the fluid boiling and protection against

corrosion, electrolysis and freezing.

NB: Castrol Antifreeze should be diluted in clean water to between 33% and 50%concentrate before use.
