The Yurgaites GardenTake a walk down memory lane in this revisited garden! Stroll down the winding brick walkways filled with history at 4114 McKeith Street,where you’re sure to enjoy the sights. The front garden is a vision of bright red and pink annuals. In the back, you’ll pass through a vine-coveredarbor to find a raised bed filled with sunpatiens and begonias. New varieties of hydrangeas, such as Annabelles, provide graceful height and color. z

The Dorais GardenExplore something new in this whimsical, charming garden located at 3541 E. Julie Ann Drive, located next to the Rezmer Garden. A spiral boxwood hedge and granite fountain greet you from the circular drive, leading to the French-inspired formal garden and hardscape designed and crafted by the homeowners. Special features include topiaries in the shape of a flower, bear and horse, a candelabra espalier, and outdoor scenic garden trains which meander in and out of a yew maze. A “mini Mac” trail pub, pergola, and cute, cozy “she shed” are other highlights to love in this delightful space. z

The Rezmer GardenParadise revisited! See how some things get better with time, such as the garden at 3565 E. Julie Ann Drive. First featured on the GardenWalk nearly 15 years ago, an exquisite cascading waterfall welcomes you and is a sign of the wonderful things to come in this space. The large backyard is reminiscent of a grand estate, with a huge green lawn bordered by numerous distinct gardens. Take a walk through this property and you may never want to leave…unless it’s to visit the Dorais Garden next door! z

The Magurno GardenThe homeowners at 2201 Ramble Lane recently transformed their backyard from a space enjoyed by dogs and children into a serene garden retreat. Upon entering, visitors will be surprised by a picturesque waterfall that flows gracefully over large native rocks, while a stone pathway invites you to stroll through the garden, winding through a spacious area filled with colorful annuals and perennials and unique pieces of art. A re-purposed child’s playhouse is a unique addition to this garden. z

The O’Neil GardenLocated next to Thrune Park, the secluded garden at 803 West Ellsworth Street is a hidden gem in the heart of Midland’s Historic District. Imagine what a summer afternoon would have been like back in 1890 at the Pardee house as you take in the covered porches and explore the brick walkways meandering through this space, which features areas of both sun and shade. z

Dow Gardens Enjoy Dow Gardens as part of your GardenWalk! Your event ticket allows you to visit the Gardens at any point during the hours of 12-6PM.
