09 Symbol Zone for Recovery of War Dead
It shows footages of the Korean War in a facade, and reproduces the war dead recovery site on the floor.
10 Incheon Landing Operation 4D Simulation
In order to recapture the capital Seoul, ROK and UN forces landed on Incheon on September 15, 1950, turning the tide of the war. The audience can vividly experience the historic Incheon Landing Operation with 4D Simulation.(7-minute running time, 15 persons / a slot)
11 ‘The Other War’ 4D visual experience hall
The viewers can vividly experience the evacuation from Heungnam and perilous refuge in bitter cold at that time- 1·4 Retreat with special effects such as 4D image, vibration and snowstorm. (9-minute running time, 40 persons / a slot)
12 The Armistice Agreement
The precise figure of person and the state-of-the-art miracle screen make viewers feel as if they were actually at the site of armistice agreement. Further, viewers can look at the actual table on which the parties of agreement signed the document.
13 The UN Forces’ participation in the Korean War
This hall shows many touching stories of the Korean War veterans from UN Forces exhibiting photos, articles and videos from the war.

Various artifacts and materials are on exhibition illustrating the support and aid provided in the war effort by each of the participating allied countries in the Korean War.
15 3D artwork ‘Drops of Tears’
Some 1,300 identification tags worn by allied troops who gave their lives during the Korean War were used to create the artwork, which honors and reveres their sacrifice.

3F 18 Air Mobile Operations
This is a reconstruction of the Korean Army that launched a helicopter air mobile operations taking into consideration the topographic characteristics of Vietnam comprised of mountains and jungles.

It exhibits the PKO activities of ROK since 1993, after ROK joined the UN in September 1991.
22 Shooting Area
This place allows visi tors to experience simulated shootings with the K-2 rifle.
21 Female Armed Forces exhibit
Donated artifacts, videos and photos, etc., portraying the history and current status of the Female Armed Forces.

6 Museum Cafe
It is a cafe with 2 floors in the area of 727m². It has an outdoor terrace where you can have a meal or take a rest in an elegant atmosphere.
7 The Momument of KIA (Galleries)
It is engraved with the names of ROK Armed Forces, police officer and UN forces who died inthe wars after the ROK foundation, such as theKorean War and Vietnam War.
9 The Statue of Brothers
This statue depicts a real-life story of two brothers who fought in the Korean War on opposite sides and were accidentally reunited on the battlefield, and symbolizes the Koreans’ wish for national peace, reconciliation, and reunification.
8 Clock Tower of Peace
Our nation’s fervent desire for reunification and wishes for peace are symbolized in the clocks held up by the two girls. One girl holds the current time, while the other holds a clock that has stopped at the time when the Korean War began.
11 Exhibit for the PKM-class Chamsuri Warship No. 357
A life-size replica of the actual vessel attacked during the Second Yeonpyeong Naval Battle. Visitors can experience a realistic reenactment of the heat of battle.
10 Korean War Artwork
These artworks were installed to commemorate 50 years of the armistice, shed new light on war history, and instill a sense of national security in the post-war generations so as to prevent the recurrence of war and build the foundation for a peaceful reunification in the future. These include the Korean War Monument, the Ho-guk Gunsang sculpture, stone plates memorial, and the monument to the allied forces who fought in the war.
12 Outdoor exhibition area
The Outdoor Exhibition Area houses about 160 pieces, including large equipment, international aircraft, and armored vehicles that were used during the Korean War. Visitors may freely explore inside the various aircraft and vehicles.
13 Children’s Museum
The history of war in Korea, from prehistoric times until the Korean War, is presented at eye-level to children viewers. Exhibits include experiential learning facilities, video rooms, creative corners, and outdoor play areas.
5 Museum Wedding Hall
A two-story traditional european style wedding hall. The complex comprises a 200-seat wedding hall surrounded by pine forest and fountains amid the perfect feng shui of the Yongsan area, with a reception hall able to accommodate up to 2,000 guests and parking facilities able to handle up to 2,000 vehicles at any time.

3 The bombing of the bridge
A trick art photo zone that realistically portrays the bombing of the pedestrian bridge over the River Han.
4 Children’s training grounds
Young visitors can experience guerilla training here, with rock climbing, slides, and rope ladders.
2 Echoes of independence
The exhibit deals with the 3·1 Independence Movement and Korean independence. Turning the handle creates a wind that makes the Korean flags flutter in the wind as they did during the independence movement.
1 Stories of War Heroes
The achievements and lessons of 6 war heroes from prehistoric times up to the Joseon Dynasty are showcased in videos and story books. Visitors can experience climbing up the fortress which the war heroes used to.
