Understanding DSLS changes

LUM support expired 12/31/2013

• LUM will not support V5-V6 2013 and higher (V5R23)

DSLS supports the following versions of software

• V6R2010x and higher

• V5-V6 2011 and higher (R21)

• V5R21 and higher [CATIA V5, DELMIA V5, ENOVIA V5, RADE V5,

SmarTeam V5, CCD

• V5]

• V5R20SP7 from HF26 onwards (*)




• V5R19SP9: target is HF96 (HP-UX not supported) (*)

• VPM1.6: target is PTF30 (AIX only)

• VPM1.7: target is GA

• SmarTeam V5R20 SP4/SP5/SP6/SP7 and V5R19SP9


Understanding DSLS changes…continuedWhat this change means to you!

• If you are above the minimum supported versions you should move completely

off LUM and onto DSLS

• If you have a requirement for CATIA V5 R18 you must continue to use LUM

• If you have a requirement to run CATIA V5 R18 and R23 or higher you will run

into a conflict

First Frame Assistant

The First Frame Assistant Tool is utilized to create and update title

blocks.

The First Frame Assistant Tool requires an FTA license for

functionality. The FTA license allows tolerancing and annotations to

be created, modified and viewed in 3D. The addition of this license to

your environment can also upgrade you to a 3D Master Specialized

Application.
